Extra Curricular activities:
Track- I've participated in track for three years. I've tried many different events but I mostly run the 800, the
4x800, and the mile. I Took Part in The State Championship for Track (4x800). As apart of the boys track team, we one many
meets, including our regional meet.
Cross Country-I've been involved with Cross Country for 2 years. I was on varsity both years. I've taken part in
the A.A.U. National Cross Country Championships in Orlando Florida.
Youth Group-I attend youth group once a week a participate in a variety of activities. Also, with my youth group
I have taken part in many service projects.
Cars-I have a very great interest in cars and have since i was young. I hope to maybe pursue this as one of my
career choices in the future
Music- I have been involved in music since elementary school. I've been in choirs at my elementary school, my high
school, and i was also in The Greeley Children's Chorale. I was in band in middle school and for part of my high school career
playing trumpet. I am involved in my schools magnet program that they now offer. I have been in a number of musicals/operas
including; The Wizard of oz, Oliver, and Johnny Skee Skee. I also like to play bass guitar, guitar, and
piano. I've been brought up with a lot of musical inspiration in my family with my father, Dr. Galen Darrough, being a professor
of music at U.N.C. and my mother, Patty Darrough, teaching private voice lessons and also teaching classes at Aims Community
College.
